MALBEC-VINTAGE
NOCES DE FEU

Vin de Liqueur

Serendipity. A hot, dry period in 2010 caused some bunches of Duras grapes to become “passerillé” (they dried on the vine, concentrating the sugar). Harvested out of curiosity, their fermentation was interrupted by fortification, followed by a 20 month barrel ageing period. The result is a subtle balance between the potency of the tannins, the sweetness of the sugar and the freshness of the fruit.
