🍇 A family story
Founded in 1981 by Luc de Conti, Château Tour des Gendres quickly became a benchmark for Bergerac wines. Since 2022, the new generation, Gilles & Margaux de Conti, carry on the legacy with passion and a modern spirit.

🌱 The terroir
50% reds (Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc) and 50% whites (Sauvignon, Chenin, Savagnin), thriving on clay-limestone soils. Surrounded by truffle oaks and forests, the vines enjoy a rich ecosystem that nurtures biodiversity and protects against frost.

🌍 The spirit
Organic since 1996, Tour des Gendres has always been a pioneer in organic viticulture. In the cellar, gentle winemaking highlights fruit purity, finesse and elegance.

🍷 Iconic cuvées to discover
-La Gloire de Mon Père – Merlot & Malbec, structured, refined, a Bergerac must-have.
-Moulin des Dames Blanc – Sauvignon-driven, élevant, mineral, with great aging potential.
-Le Vif (Savagnin) – A rare white in Bergerac, offering tension, freshness, and originality.

👤 Meet Maxime, our Sales Manager If we had to 👤 Meet Maxime, our Sales Manager
If we had to sum him up in two words: tenacity & precision.
Born in the Indre region of France, Maxime probably had his first taste of Chinon or Sancerre in his baby bottle! 🍷 After gaining experience in Australia’s Margaret River and later in Phnom Penh with a renowned importer, he joined Accents & Terroirs in 2021. Since then, he’s been flying the flag for our winegrowers across Europe with dedication and rigor.
✨ Maxime’s back-to-school pick: Galapia from Domaine Albert de Conti — a fruity, light, and friendly wine, perfect for late summer family gatherings. He just confirmed it last weekend, enjoying it with his own family! 🥂

✨ In the Spotlight - Jules Verhaeghe – Châtea ✨ In the Spotlight - Jules Verhaeghe – Château Le Cèdre, Cahors New RVF 2026 Green Guide ✨
From his grandmother’s early struggles as a Belgian newcomer in Cahors, to Jules’ own path — English literature, a passion for Shakespeare, a BTS in viticulture & oenology, experiences with ÉLian Da Ros, and finally his return home in 2019 🍇 — this article retraces a unique journey.
Perfectionist and visionary, Jules brings a contemporary vision of Malbec while paying tribute to his roots with his first single-vineyard cuvée: “Charly”.
👉 A must-read for anyone curious about the new generation of Cahors winemakers.
Congrats Jules! 👏

🍷 Les Gravels Rouge – Domaine Rotier (AOC Gai 🍷 Les Gravels Rouge – Domaine Rotier (AOC Gaillac)
This wine proudly takes its name from the gravelly soils it comes from — Les Graves.
A bold and expressive blend of Duras, Braucol, and Syrah, with Duras leading the way — a true native grape of Southwest France.
👉 Aged in tanks to preserve purity and freshness, it opens with vibrant notes of red and black berries, liquorice, and a touch of pepper.
🌱 Straightforward and direct, this wine reflects the Domaine’s signature style: clean, well-balanced, and accessible, crafted from a singular terroir of rolled pebbles.
🍽 Perfect pairing: spicy lamb skewers or a lentil & roast vegetable stew
📍 Available for export — direct from the estate via Accents & Terroirs.

PORTRAIT VIGNERON ALAIN ROTIER 👉« Alain, ca PORTRAIT VIGNERON ALAIN ROTIER
👉« Alain, can you introduce yourself and tell us the story of the estate? »
“Domaine Rotier is a family adventure that began 50 years ago. After studying at Purpan Agricultural School, I joined my parents in 1985 with one goal: to vinify our own grapes. We built a winery, replanted Gaillac’s red grape varieties, and in 1997, my brother-in-law and associate Francis joined me. We naturally split responsibilities: he took care of the vines, I focused on the cellar. Today, we cultivate 34 hectares. I converted to organic farming in 2005 — it quickly became an obvious choice for the health of our soils and the respect of our terroir.”
What makes a good wine, in your opinion?
“A good wine is, first of all, one without major flaws — but more importantly, it’s a wine that fits the moment. It can be simple or complex, that doesn’t matter. What counts is that it’s shared with pleasure.”
Your favorite wine in the range?
 “I love them all! They’re like my children… »
🍷 Signature cuvées
“In the early 2000s, we were pioneers in producing late harvest wines in the Gaillac region. That opened the door to a whole new audience of wine lovers. For our 40th vintage, we decided to innovate again with a carbonic maceration cuvée made from Duras. The result is a fruity, sincere wine — just like us.”
What about the 2025 vintage?
“It’s looking pretty good. We’ve had quite a bit of rain and wind. Ideally, we’d like a bit more rain before harvest. We’re planning to start around August 25th — especially to make sure we don’t miss the ideal window for our sparkling cuvée.”
🤝 Accents & Terroirs, a human story
“The adventure started in 1999. Domaine Rotier was never the top-selling estate, but it’s been a beautiful collective and human journey, with meaningful relationships between winemakers. Without Accents & Terroirs, I might never have gone into organic farming.”
👨‍👦 And tomorrow?
“My son Julien, a former special needs educator and a skilled taster, is very committed to the family business. He’s now in his second year of studies in Angers and doing his internship with Fabien Jouves in Cahors. The next generation is on its way!”
