The Petit Manseng grapes used in the Vendanges Tardives are harvested mid December and are particularly concentrated in sugar. Fermentation and elevage (24 months) are carried out in barrels. For such an opulent wine, with its aromas of tropical fruit and caramel and its toasted notes, the underlying freshness is reamarkable.
